Getting started
I need an account
Itsappy Lab works inside a workspace. Either ask the person who runs your team's workspace to invite you, or open the app and tap Create a workspace to start your own.
I can't sign in
- Check the email address — it is the one your invite was sent to.
- If your workspace owner removed you, sign-in will be refused. Ask them to invite you again.
- Still stuck? Email us and we will look up the account.
Common questions
How does the virtual office work?
Open Spaces and tap Enter on a floor. Tap the map to walk. You hear the people standing near you and they hear you — walk away and the conversation ends, the same way it would in a real office. Rooms, focus pods and the all-hands stage are listed below the map.
Nobody can hear me in a meeting or on the office floor
- Check that Itsappy Lab has microphone access in your device settings.
- On iOS, make sure the ring/silent switch is not muting the app.
- If you are on a restricted office or hotel network, calls may be blocked. Try mobile data to confirm.
I'm not getting notifications
- Allow notifications for Itsappy Lab in your device settings.
- On Android, check that battery optimisation is not restricting the app.
- Notifications are only sent for messages, mentions and tasks that are coming due.
Photos or files won't upload
Large videos take a while on a slow connection — leave the app open until the upload finishes. If it keeps failing, check that the app has permission to read your photo library.
Which permissions does the app ask for, and why?
- Camera — photos and videos you send, and video in meetings, calls and the virtual office.
- Microphone — meetings, calls, voice notes and the virtual office.
- Photos — attaching images to messages and tasks, and saving images you download.
- Location — only when you choose to share your location in a conversation. Never in the background.
- Notifications — messages, mentions and task reminders.
All of them are optional. Declining one only disables the feature that needs it.
Privacy and your account
Reporting a problem with content or a person
Workspaces are private and invite-only. If someone in your workspace is posting abusive content, contact your workspace owner or admin — they can delete the content and remove the member. If that is not possible, email itappy2026@gmail.com and we will act on it.
